DNB Admissions July 2010
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for undergoing 3 years DNB training in the following Specialties for the Session commencing from July.2010 :
Ophthalmology: MBBS and a valid pass certificate in the Central Entrance Test conducted by the N.B.E., New Delhi..

Family Medicine(NR): MBBS with internship and MCI registration.
Conditions:
1) The validity of pass in the CET examination is two years prior to the commencement of the DNB Session.
2) The Institute offers stipend as prescribed by the NBE and single room hostel accommodation will be provided on payment of usual rent.
3) Selection will be based on the Aptitude Assessment test for Broad Specialities and marks obtained in CET.
4) For the Specialty of Family Medicine(NR), selection is based on the evaluation for general practice and compassion to live with the community to ensure healthy living.
5) Applications (softcopy can be downloaded from here) along with Xerox copies of the qualifying degree Certificates, Registration with the Medical Council of India/ State Council and a passport size photograph of the candidate should be sent to the Director, SSSIHMS, Prasanthigram-515134. Candidates should clearly indicate their postal address, telephone/mobile no.,and e.mail ID, if any, in the application.
6) Last date for receipt of applications along with enclosures is 17th July 2010 (provisional).
7) The Aptitude Assessment Test will be conducted in this hospital (for Ophthalmology) on 24.07.2010 (provisional) and for Family Medicinine in SSSGH, PSN, on 24.07.2010 (provisional)..
8) The selected candidates will have to join immediately after declaring the results
